Orbis Schools are dedicated to supporting, educating and enhancing the lives of Children and Young People who have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition.
Our two schools offer contrasting environments - Ty Orbis is set in the beautiful rolling hills of Bronllys on the outskirts of the Brecon Beacons, whilst Ty Coryton is located on the edge of Cardiff. Both schools offer a variety of specialist classrooms and a wide range of on-site facilities that complement and enrich the lives of our young people.
Learning programmes include accredited and non-accredited learning through a wide range of leisure activities that ensure inclusion in the wider local community. Formal National accreditations including ASDAN and AQA unit award schemes are available and our holistic approach ensures that young people, parents, staff and associated professionals are fully involved at every stage to ensure that each student reaches their full potential.
Our schools are designed and staffed to provide specialist education, residential care and support for those with an ASC. Residential care provides the opportunity for skill acquisition on a daily basis, by promoting empowerment and independence of every young person in a safe, secure and nurturing environment. Each student receives a personal programme that reflects their individual needs to ensure their own goals and targets are achieved.
